We’ll enjoy a night of food, drinks, an auction & music while raising funds to help ACHIEVEability end poverty for Philadelphia families. ACHIEVEability is also excited to honor 40 stakeholders that have fueled our collective success over the past four decades at this event!

Tickets are $300 for an Early Access Pass, and $225 for General Admission, and $125 for those under 35. All proceeds support ACHIEVEability’s transformative programs.

About the Event

40 Years STrong: Rising & Thriving Overview

As part of its 40th Anniversary Celebration, ACHIEVEability will hold a fundraising event on October 19, 2022 at the iconic Mann Music Center in West Philadelphia. This Anniversary Celebration, “40 Years Strong: Rising and Thriving,” will feature speakers from ACHIEVEability’s 40-year history, with music, dancing, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and an auction.

Event Highlights

• The Venue: One of the Philadelphia region's leading cultural and civic assets, The Mann Music Center has hosted events in historic Fairmount Park since 1930. With an unparalleled view of the Philadelphia skyline, ACHIEVEability can’t wait to celebrate big and socialize safely in the perfect indoor-outdoor setting of The Mann.

• The Band: The Sid Miller Dance Band, a twelve-piece powerhouse, will be gracing the stage with their high energy and tremendous musical excellence. Sid Miller Dance Band performs classic dance hits from the 60's through today. Superstar Tina Fey even selected this band to perform at her wedding reception. Get ready to groove!

• ACHIEVEability’s 40th: ACHIEVEability is so proud of growing its West Philadelphia roots for 40 years. We’re fired up about the last forty years’ accomplishments and what we're going to accomplish over the NEXT 40 years. We're not just fighting poverty, we're helping our community thrive. Join us to help celebrate this monumental anniversary.

OVERVIEW OF OUR WORK

Since 1981, ACHIEVEability, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, has aimed to permanently break the generational cycle of poverty for West Philadelphia families through higher education, affordable housing, supportive services, community and economic development, and accountability.

Over the last 40 years, ACHIEVEability have been a staple in West Philadelphia, working with individuals, families, local businesses, and other community stakeholders to foster thriving communities. Each year, ACHIEVEability serves over 2,800 individuals.

OUR CORE PROGRAMS

ACHIEVEability’s three core programs strive to permanently break the generational cycle of poverty for West Philadelphia families through higher education, affordable housing, supportive services, community and economic development and accountability.

• ACHIEVEability Connects works with community residents and business owners to access programs and services that will support them in contributing to a thriving, safe community for everyone.

• Family Self-Sufficiency Program partners with families experiencing or at-risk-of-experiencing homelessness to provide them with housing and supportive services to empower them to break the cycle of poverty through education.

• WorkSmart West Philly provides jobseekers with the skills training, connections to employers and supportive services necessary for them to meet their employment/career goals.
