Carly Maurer
Director of Evaluation & Innovation
Carly Maurer is a data-driven, results-oriented and socially-conscious member of the ACHIEVEability team. Initially drawn to the organization for its holistic approach to investing in families, she has held growing roles with ACHIEVEability and is a key contributor in driving strategy to realize its mission of ending generational poverty.
As Deputy Director, Carly ensures that ACHIEVEability’s programs operate efficiently and effectively. Her key focuses include program development, organizational impact and strategic partnerships. Carly values diverse perspectives and draws inspiration from knowing she can always learn something new from every person she meets. Her lifelong curiosity has been crucial to her success at every level of the organization and her vision is to see all Philadelphians activated, inspired, fulfilled and successful.
Key contributions to ACHIEVEability include: implementing its first web-based database, leading program evaluation efforts through the BECI initiative in collaboration with the Yale Consultation Center and developing standards to uphold a data-driven culture. She is an alum of Bryn Mawr’s Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI) and the LaSalle Nonprofit Center Peer Leadership Circle.
Carly has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Joseph's University and a Master of Education - Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania. Carly spends her free time exploring, reading and gardening with her husband and three kids.
