When you become an Impact Day Volunteer, you're not just dedicating your time – you're becoming an official member of the ACHIEVEability Village. On Impact Day, you’ll be joining neighbors, community partners, ACHIEVEability staff, and others united in the goal of building a safe, equitable, and thriving West Philadelphia.

Throughout the day, volunteers will work on various projects to enhance our West Philadelphia neighborhood, beautifying the corridor, painting, gardening, and building projects. There is something for everyone. Join us!

Impact Day Volunteer Guide

We’re thrilled to have you join us for Impact Day 2025, a day dedicated to making a positive impact in West Philadelphia! As we gear up for this exciting event, here are some important details to make your volunteer experience all the more rewarding.

Impact Day Event Details

Date: April 25, 2025

Location: ACHIEVEability

5901 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139

Main Entrance is located between Salford St. and 59th Street

For urgent matters on Impact Day, call 215-748-8809

Attire: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor activities and weather conditions. Event is rain or shine.

Transportation Options:

  • Public Transportation: The Septa Market-Frankford Line 60th Street Station stop is a couple of blocks from the Impact Day event. The station is located at the intersection of 60th and Market Street. From there, head down from the station and walk 1/2 block east to the entrance of the building. Alternatively, the 21 and 46 buses also stop at 60th Street Station.

  • Ride Share: If you prefer, you can use Lyft or Uber to reach the event venue.

  • Driving/Parking: Info coming soon.

Impact Day Overview:

  • 8:30 AM: Registration, T-Shirt Pick-Up & Continental Breakfast

  • 9:30 AM: Welcome Program

  • 10:00 AM: Volunteer Activities

  • 1:00 PM: Clean Up

  • 1:30 PM: Lunch & Celebration

  • 3:00 PM: Event Concludes
